What is Whatsapp Web?
Basically Whatsapp Web displayed on a desktop computer is exactly the same on a smartphone.
The advantages of using Whatsapp Web with desktop / laptop computers is the monitor screen size, as well as the ease of typing text and sending files.

We don't need to install additional applications on the computer, just use your browser application on your computer.
Before you can use Whatsapp web you must have an active Whatsapp account on your smartphone and a stable internet connection.

How to access WhatsApp Web

To use Whatsapp web on PC or laptop, you must synchronize Whatsapp on your smartphone and Whatsapp web with the following steps:

1. Open https://web.whatsapp.com on your computer browser. You will see a QR Code display as follows.

2. Open Whatsapp application on your smartphone. then tap the three dot at the top right of Whatsapp on your smartphone.

3. A drop down will appear, tap the WhatsApp Web.

4. A confirmation page will appears, tap OK

5. Now scan the QR Code that displayed on WhatsApp Web using Whatsapp on your smartphone.

Now your Whatsapp is connected to WhatsApp Web and ready to use.

How to Use WhatsApp Web

Basically to use Whatsapp Web is the same as when we use Whatsapp application on smartphone. However there is Whatsapp features that cannot be used on WhatsApp Web such as video call and voice call.

Some other Whatsapp features that can be use on Whatsapp web :

1. Chatt, just like using Whatsapp on smartphone. Search for a friend's name through the search feature, or the last conversation.

2. Voice Recording, same as when we record sound through Whatsapp on smartphone. Click the micropohone button on the bottom right, then a pop up window will appear to confirm.

Click the Allow button, then click the Ok, GOT IT button. and the voice recording feature can be directly used on WhatsApp Web.

3. Sending Files via Whatsapp web, we can also send files in the form of images, videos, documents and contacts. Click the button shaped like a paperclip, select the type of file you want to send.

Log out from Whatsapp Web

When you finish using WhatsApp Web, make sure that you Log Out from WhatsApp Web with following steps:

• Open the WhatsApp application on your smartphone, tap the three dot menu at the top right.
• Tap WhatsApp Web
• Tap Log out from all devices . A confirmation pop up will appear, then tap Log Out.
